Pivot is a social enterprise that empowers people experiencing homelessness by teaching jewelry making in hostels and providing flexible and paid employment opportunities accompanied by coaching and financial support. They create earrings, pins, necklaces, eyeglass chains, bookmarks, key rings, and bottle openers and specialize in unique designs that can be handmade at a desk with minimal tools and training. Priority is given to recycled metals and upcycled acetate. Pivot also offers maker-led public workshops and private events. All profits from these workshops are reinvested into their social mission of helping people experiencing homelessness. Pivot is an accredited Living Wage Employer and a member of Social Enterprise UK.
