Olive Express brings immersive travel experiences to aged care homes in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast to enhance residents’ mental well-being, foster social connection, and help them rediscover joy, purpose, and adventure. Their virtual reality train journeys recreate the experience of traveling and transport seniors to scenic locations from different parts of the world. This engaging form of diversional therapy provides opportunities for cognitive stimulation and socialization. Olive Express delivers their services in a wheelchair-accessible van with adjustable seating to accommodate mobile daybeds for seniors with limited mobility. They provide the excitement of global journeys without the carbon footprint of flights and cruises and inspire awareness of different cultures and natural wonders without harming them.
