Nepal Tea Collective aims to bridge the gap between tea producers in Nepal and consumers in the United States so that tea lovers have access to the freshest organically grown teas and farmers bypass exploitative middlemen and receive the maximum benefit from their harvest. They source white tea, green tea, black tea, oolong, chai, and herbal tisanes from their own family farm, Kanchanjangha Tea Estate and Research Center, a pioneer in cooperative ownership, organic production, and fair trade, as well as other smallholder tea farmers with shared values. Their loose leaf teas are packed at origin in handwoven bamboo pouches and handmade lokta paper containers. Nepal Tea Collective also coordinates immersive tea tours in Nepal. For every purchase, they plant a tea sapling and contribute to the Nepal Tea Foundation. Nepal Tea Collective is registered as a Public Benefit Corporation.
